Switzerland. Canton Ticino. Lugano. Canvetto Luganese. Courtyard. A woman walks toward the restaurant's entrance. She wears a mask on her face to protect herself from the Coronavirus (also called Covid-19). Canvetto Luganese was reopened to the public by the Fondazione Diamante in December 2000. The place has been acquired and renovated to give it back to the population as a neighbourhood centre and as a restaurant. The Fondazione Diamante was established in 1978. As part of its mandate it is aimed at adults with disabilities. Over the years, the Foundation has developed by setting up differentiated structures both in terms of content and characteristics and in terms of the complexity and specificity of the socio-educational support offered in order to guarantee the most individualised responses to the needs of individual users. 29.10.2020 © 2020 Didier Ruef
