Haiti. Province of Ouest. Port-Au-Prince. Political demonstration by the supporters " chimères" of the president of Haiti, Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his political party, called Lavalas. They ask with their five fingers wide open that the actual president Jean-Bertrand Aristide remains in power for the next five years. A picture of Jean-Bertrand Aristide, as a man of peace with both his hands open for the county and the haitian flag, is shown by the demonstators as a symbol of loyalty and continuity for the future of Haiti. The police controls the good progress of the demonstration by prohibiting any disorders and clashes with the supporters of the 184 group (opposition to Aristide). © 2003 Didier Ruef
