It is used as a dependency (Notschlafstelle) of the main asylum registration centre of Chiasso. The bunker hosts mostly families and minors, and it is a centre for immigrants under the authority of the Federal Office for Migration. Lunch time for african families from Nigeria and Niger. The men, the women and the children are economic migrants who have asked for political asylums in Switzerland.
