Romania. Iași County. Iasi. A grandmother and her granddaughter are walking in the street. The stylish child is dressed with a dress and wears a pink hat and sunglasses. She carries a doll in her right arm. A grey Mercedes car is parked under the streets and is covered with dust. A recycling bank is located on the street. As well as home recycling bins, there are many recycling banks across Iasi that can be used to recycle different materials and are located on streets across the town. Iași (also referred to as Iasi, Jassy or Iassy) is the largest city in eastern Romania and the seat of Iași County. Located in the Moldavia region, Iași has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Romanian social life. The city was the capital of the Principality of Moldavia from 1564 to 1859, then of the United Principalities from 1859 to 1862, and the capital of Romania from 1916 to 1918. 13.06.15 © 2015 Didier Ruef
