The permanent collection of the museum was opened on September 10th 1992. What had before only been host to temporary exhibitions is now a true museum, with the task of looking after, increasing and exhibiting its artistic collection of modern and contemporary art, and favour the social communication of the plastic arts. © 2007 Didier Ruef
