France. Ile-de-France Department. Paris. Eurosatory 2022. The Panther KF51(R) is a main battle tank developed by the German company Rheinmetall. The tank is armed with a 130mm smoothbore Rheinmetall Future Gun System (FGS) (Rh-130 L52) and a fully automatic ammunition handling system with 20 ready rounds, and a 12.7mm coaxial machine gun with an integrated remotely controlled weapons station. Shamma Al Heimeri (R) is an engineer working for Tawazun, the UAE defense and security acquisitions authority for the UAE Armed Forces. She stands on the gun turret while talking to a Rheinmetall salesperson. Shamma Al Heimeri is a modern muslim woman who wears pants and a hijab to cover her hair. The other tank (L) is a Lynx KF4 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle). The tracked armored vehicle is also designed, developed, and manufactured by Rheinmetall.
